I'm really not a Fall Person at all (if there even is such thing... you Fall People will have to tell me about it).  Summer is over and gone, the days are getting shorter and colder, and when I was young, I always knew that school was back again.  Somehow I ended up being the only person in the  family who was born during Fall.  Ironic, I know.  I mean, Fall just doesn't fit with me!  I really don't like eating anything pumpkin (except for pumpkin bread or muffins), I like cold apple cider, and although some squashes are good, they are simply a hassle to eat because I'm never sure if you're allow to eat the skin or not (and half the time I just end up eating it whether it's against the rules or not because I can't get it off)!

But there is something I love about Fall.

The colors.

Every year I am amazed at God's creation and the beauty of the changing seasons.  I go biking up and down our street a couple times a week and I have loved seeing all the vibrant colors.  The yellow-brown leaves falling off the trees in a crunchy ground cover, the pine needles all over the road, the colored trees poking out between the rich majestic pine trees... all of the shades reflect a Creator that has painted a beautiful tapestry of sparkling color across our world.

I took this picture of our neighbor's pond last year and every time I see it, I still have to gaze at it as I take in the beauty.  I love how the tree line disappears into the fog and the water reflects the scene.
(And even though I'm not a photographer--oh wait.  One time I did take a test and came out as an Extreme Photographer... yeah, I think that fits me!--I did edit the picture because I took it on an iPhone.)

"The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein."
~Psalm 111:2

Our Creator is amazing, Fall is beautiful, and I get to experience it all!

(Oh, and if you haven't already, be sure to FALLow my blog because now would be a great time!)

What about the pumpkin spice lattes?!?!?!?!?

Ha! Eden puts less pumpkin spice in my goblet. ;)

Even then I can't swallow the pumpkin silt on the bottom of the cup.

Well, I could swallow it... but the results might have been alarming. :P

I am a fall person! we make these pumkin cream cheese muffins (just like starbucks) and we buy vanilla flavored creamer, and we wear snuggly eddie bauer peach colored vests, and we eat homemade apple strudel with ice cream, and we play christmas music even though its way too early, and we make long christmas lists of all the stuff we want to give to other people, and then we dont go anywhere cuz we cant get sick!

Wow... That has got to be the most beautiful pond I've ever seen!! looks like a painting almost. Beautiful capture.

I can imagine the colors are even more vibrant up north where you live. Though Alabama gets some lovely colors too :)

There most definitely *is* such a thing as a "fall person" because I'm totally one of them! And I can't stand the thought of pumpkin spice lattes! :P

I just so happened to be born in fall and also love the season!

I agree...the colors are beautiful and so is the crisp breeze...

Wow!!! All these Fall People unite! ;)

Girl From Green Lake: Your description was quite funny. :)

Lindsey: Thank you! :) I love that spot.

Madi: Weeeell, I know what you mean. I still have trouble with the bitter taste of coffee, but if it's right, it's pretty good. :)

Racheal: I didn't know you were born in this Season too!

I am totally a "Fall Person" (though I don't like cold weather), and I ADORE pumpkin! :D Enough that I eat canned pumpkin (with all the spices!) as a snack food all year 'round. At one point in my life, (not that long ago) I was eating pumpkin like this several times a day... And the palms of my hands started turning orange. :P So I backed off a little... :P

Yes indeed, Fall is a magnificent time of year! ^_^ (though as soon as it starts getting cold, it makes me grumpy. :P)

NarnianWarHorse: Oh wow! I do not envy your snack. ;) How in the world did you eat so much?!
Well, you may have my slice on Pumpkin Pie...

I hate fall. XD It means the end of summer and the start of school. :P The only things I like about it is the comfortable weather, the colors, and the pumpkin spice lattes.
